Waving goodbye to the old year, climbing up to welcome the new year, is one of the traditional Chinese customs. On January 7, BLD-me CLUB members gathered at the foot of Mount Kuaiji to start the journey of hiking up to the top of the mountain, praying for good fortune, feeling the pleasure of climbing to the top of the mountain, and injecting vitality into the new year.
Shaoxing, the ancient name of "Yuezhou", Xiangfeng Peak is the highest peak near the ancient city of Yue, and an excellent viewing point overlooking the panoramic view of the city. According to legend, Dayu found the "book of gold and jade characters" on Xiangfu Peak, thus knowing the situation of mountains and rivers and curing floods; and the famous temple of Fenfeng Zen Temple in Yuezhong has always been a blessed place for Shaoxing people to climb the mountain and pray for blessings.

With a view of the mountains and forests and a pleasant scenery, BLD-me CLUB members, led by the leader, climbed up the Siyuan Pagoda and Nantianzhu Pai Lou along the old western route. On the way up, there were steep steps, members accompanied each other and walked together in laughter, forgetting the hustle and bustle of the city.
After 1508 steps, members climbed to the top of the Three Sacred Buddha Hall, feeling the pleasure of "a view of the mountains", and prayed for blessings in the Goddess of Mercy Hall to get a good sign for the New Year. Some members shared their joy: "It was very relaxing to climb the mountain with everyone, and we reached the top of the mountain in the middle of laughing and joking, so we could see farther and higher, and we will surely accomplish everything we want in the new year."
Carve a New Year's Ritual at Lanting Anlu, under the mountain of Kuaiji.
On the way down, you will pass through the wild and interesting niche trail "Yangming Dongtian" and arrive at Lanting Anlu, which is known as "China's most beautiful escape hotel". In the midst of the ancient buildings, BLD-me CLUB members can enjoy a chef's customized vegetarian lunch to relieve the fatigue of mountaineering.
Afterwards, the crowd followed the wood carvers and immersed themselves in the handcrafted time, injecting their hopes for the New Year into the square inches and polishing them into the lucky bags.
