Mr. Haijun Yu,citizen of Hangzhou with ancestral native place in Shaoxing,Zhejiang Province,is the founder and chairman of BLD Group,a China Industry Leader, an Outstanding Hangzhou Businessman of the World Hangzhou Business Conference, and a member of the General Association of Zhejiang Entrepreneurs and International Chamber of Commerce of Hangzhou.
As founder of BLD Group and a craftsman in auto dream,Mr. Yu embarked on auto business in the 1990s. He opened the first licensed dealership in 2000. In the following ten years,with his unique global strategic vision and sharp business thinking,he has constantly broken through the border,insight into the times and changes to adapt to the future,led the team continue to deepen the luxury car brand retail service industry,and successively obtained the franchise of international luxury brands like Mercedes-Benz,FAW-Volkswagen Audi,Jaguar Land Rover,Rolls-Royce,Lincoln,Aston Martin and Porsche,and chosen as a strategic partner by Mercedes-Benz China,Jaguar Land Rover China and Lincoln China. With a service networking covering the Yangtze River Delta,BLD has been chosen by over 600,000 clients and included in the list of Top 20 Auto Dealers in China. Thanks to Mr. Yu’s unremitting endeavor of enterpreneurship,as well as the spirit of innovation of entrepreneurs from Zhejiang Province,BLD has for years in a row secured a place in Top 500 Private Companies in China,Top 500 Service Industry Companies in China,Top 100 Zhejiang-based Companies and Top 100 Zhejiang-based Service Industry. Over the nearly two decades after joining the auto industry,Mr. Yu,has experienced several waves of changes in the industry. As a catalyst for change in auto industry,he embraced all these changes with his open mind and innovative thinking. In response to the state’s call for capital investment in state-owned enterprises by private companies,he bought a stake in Sinopec in 2016 and entered into in-depth cooperation with Sinopec to jointly explore the automotive aftermarket. In 2017,BLD concluded an investment cooperation agreement with Sinopec in Beijing to establish Sinopec Easy Joy Baolide Investment Development Co.,Ltd. Easy Joy Auto Mall,an automotive service platform they jointly built to offer auto maintenance service,is expected to have over 5,000 outlets in the future. It is dedicated to creating a platform-based,digital and online ecosystem of automotive service.
In the face of impact from mobile and digital economy,Mr. Yu activated his plan for transformation and upgrading a few years ago to win trust from clients with more attentive service that could satisfy their real needs,putting into practice the idea of platform-based transformation supported by big data. In the first year of the 15-year strategic planning period,he proposed a plan to embrace the digital age,and created a service system with focusing on the needs of users. In 2017,Mr. Yu established Baolide Network Technology Co.,Ltd. and independently developed the high-quality service platform BLD-me based on offline experience in one-stop luxury car dealerships,integration of online platform resources,online user service and operation,to delve into and put into service the digital membership system,create an automotive service chain and an ecosystem network of retailing,bring better life to users,create a community of users to make the platform a preferred digital lifestyle platform for users. In 2019,he proposed to the concept of a platform named Bheart Used Car,and officially launched a luxury used car transaction service platform that combined online digital operation and offline dealership service. In 2021, he activated a global service strategy to bring goals to a higher level and drive BLD towards its goal to be an international service enterprise of excellence with a multi-industry network and a global vision. In the future,BLD will also work on the electrification of fuel vehicle brands,take root in the main business,actively explore the one-stop new energy cooperation mode,and cooperate with more new energy vehicle makers.
Today, BLD has been developed into a high-quality life service enterprise focusing on the operation of global high-quality products and services, with reach in industries like luxury cars, used cars, fashion boutiques, trips, education, health care.
